The visual and performing arts have been a part of the Saint Vincent community for many years.
The Saint Vincent Archabbey Arts Collection started with founder Boniface Wimmer, O.S.B., with 195 17th, 18th, and 19th century European paintings which were donated through the auspices of King Ludwig I of Bavaria in the 1850s.
The late Brother Nathan Cochran, O.S.B., was involved with the Saint Vincent Gallery for 16 years and curator of the Saint Vincent Archabbey Arts Collection for 31 years.
The Saint Vincent Summer Theatre, founded by the late Benedictine Father Thomas Devereux, is entering its 52nd year.
The Saint Vincent Concert Series, founded by the late Benedictine Father Joseph Bronder, himself a concert pianist, is approaching its 50th year (in 2021).
